Who Knew Goats Were Such Criminals?

Just look who Seattle police arrested the other day. Read Story Here.

Apparently it is a goat crime wave, Mercedes owners beware. Read Another Story Here.

*Picture is of my Boer goat "Emma". Don't let that face fool you, she is no where near as innocent as she looks. Something tells me she would like nothing more than to jump around on a nice Mercedes...maybe leave a few dents..tag it with some goat graffiti, who knows what she is capable of. Don't worry, we keep her behind a fence for the safety of nice cars everywhere.

Seriously, that sweet face up there?! It's just another reminder of why I think goats are so CUTE!!! Oh my gosh! Do they all smile like that?! And, her eyes! Wow, I would have the most spoiled goats of all time... love the pictures!

You really have to watch who you let your goats hang out with. This is a classic example of good goats gone bad (I'm sure the second case had a lot to do with the influence of the dog)!

Come on now, Emma couldn't possibly be capable of all that mischief. Such a sweet face.

I'm now going to go find the simple soap recipe you posted a while back. However, you didn't list the recipe that you now use or is it a secret?

The lye is due to arrive by ground today, if so, I can try my hand at soap making.

I found my way here from another blog. I am a new goat owner and am completely besotted with my two girlies.

I love your blog.

Now just look at that face, full of cuteness with a big touch of mischief. That's what I see anyway.

I have suggested to my hubby about getting a couple of boar goats but I didn't get an answer. He knows how much mischief they like to get up to.

Have a great weekend,

Tania

A couple of questions about the batch of soap I made last night -
1) does a candy thermometer work in the dye solution? I only saw it up to 75 degrees.
2) don't know if I got to trace
3) this morning it has set up some, but still quite soft to touch

Joanna, I sent you an email!

Thank you all for your comments, Emma is pretty spoiled, she has a lot of personality. She is the farm tattle-tale. She is quite vocal with her complaints if the other animals misbehave or are not where they are supposed to be.
