Musical Chairs - Farm Photo of the Week
It doesn't take much to entertain a pasture full of goat kids. Like other "kids" they get bored easy but a fun game of musical chairs will cure that! Too bad they only had one chair.
How cute! We rolled three big round tree stumps into the goat yard and they hop up and down and play "Queen" of the mountain! There was an old stump of a tree still in the ground that they use to climb to the top of, but after a few years of scaling that, they wore off the narrow peice to stand on and now it's rather tricky to get on top of it, but they still try...and they aren't kids any more!
BeeContent - there is a mulberry tree stump and log in their pasture that they have jumped and played on so much it is worn completely smooth, no bark left on it. Their playful nature is one of my favorite things about goats.
I can see mine doing that, but I can't leave that chair in the pasture when I am not there or one of them will get their head stuck under the arm of it and end up with a plastic lawn chair collar. LOL. That playful nature can get them into trouble too sometimes!
Oh, your goats are so adorable. I'm hoping to add goats to our farm this summer so I went to check your sales page. In the meantime, I'll visit your blog and get my "goat fix."
You could only find one chair huh?? Mine have a cable spool that they fight over. You should be able to check out my profile and get to my vet blog easier now. :) Please feel free to check it out.
Great pictures. It makes me miss living on a goat farm. I loved it. I love all kinds of goats but my favorite was probably the nubians. I love your blog and I will be back.
