Simple Ham & Cheese Quiche


3 eggs separated
3/4 cup chopped ham
1 cup shredded Colby and Monterey Jack cheese
4 oz cream cheese; softened
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 standard pie crust

Beat egg whites, then soften cream cheese and mix with egg yolks, add ham, pepper, onions, and colby-jack cheese. Fold in egg whites and pour into pie crust.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, sprinkle parmesan on top and bake and additional 5-10 minutes.

Looks like a great recipe, I will try it. Anytime I can bake something using eggs from my girls, I really enjoy it.

ohhh...I never thought of using cream cheese...I bet it will be sensational with duck eggs.

Looks yummy! Have you tried adding nutmeg? I always put that in mine...I love playing around with ingredients in these quiches; it's my favorite way to eat spinach!
