A blog about the day to day life and happenings on an 80 acre goat farm in Kansas called Shiloh Prairie Farm. News and information on goats and farm life also!
LOL! Miss Chef and I have an ongoing joke about Santa living inside her/my nose. Neither one of us can remember how it originated, but it always gets revisited during cold season.
Maybe we have discovered the secret lair of the Easter Bunny?
Funny Emma! I often think I see cat food stuck in MY Emma's nose - she's only a calico cat but manages to get her face in my face in the morning when she wants me to get out of bed and feed her.
MomL & KathyB - How funny, but bleh..cat food breath...even worse than goat cud breath! LOL. Yes her ears are pretty soft, except for the tips that are kind of crinkly and turn up slightly. You can see it better in the sidebar picture of her. That is because when she was born the tips of her ears were folded up, there was no connective tissue, it was just how she was laying in the womb. Today her slightly curled ear tips just give her character I think. :)
Hi Christine, they do look alike but they are actually not related at all. Peeps mom is our Nubian dairy goat Dym (who looks NOTHING like her daughter Peeps)

As Mom L said,my Emma usually had cat food up her nose too, or mouse hair , she was a calico manx.
Your Emma is one to make anyone smile. Are her long floppy ears as soft as they look?
That is so cute!
I just love critter noses!
So cute! She almost looks like a dog in this pic!
Lol, no, truly neither Josh nor I have ever had any trouble reaching anything. I am 5'10" and he's that puny little itty witty bitty 6'1"!
