It's almost midnight here in California and I could go into the kitchen and fix this Mexican Cornbread right now. It looks delicious. Thanks for giving me a recipe for dinner tomorrow night. Have a great Easter weekend.
mmmmhmmm that looks sooo good!
Thanks! I don't like ordinary cornbread, but I LOVE Mexican cornbread. However, I've always had to search for the (White Lily? Martha White?) mix. I'm delighted to know that I can make this with the ordinary Jiffy mix! At last, a recipe I might even cook!!!

Sounds yummy!
That looks like the best cornbread I've ever seen and the best mexican cornbread. I've got to try that.
Looks like a recipe my daughter and her family will enjoy! Hope your Easter is a day to celebrate the Resurrection....and eat some yummy easter candy!
Happy Easter! Love that cornbread. One Christmas my MIL added hot peppers by mistake. We all had a big surprise, but after the shock, we went ahead and ate the cornbread anyway because it was so good. Thanks for reminding me.
Looks delish!
Hope you have a Happy Easter~
I have been looking for a recipe just like this! Perfect timing. Looks delicious!!
OH GOD. Yum. I vow I will make this recipe once I have lost too much weight and have to gain back a pound or two. Looks and sounds delicious. In fact... I believe I even smell the deliciousness all the way down in Florida.
Nicely done Jennifer, my friend.
Happy Easter!
