Calling the Goat Herd Home
My husband took this video today of the goat herd coming down from the big pasture. Who is that leading the way? Why, Peeps the lap goat of course!
Wow, that's a lotta goats! I'm wondering how tall your husband is, because the Nubians I met at the farm where Miss Chef works seemed a LOT bigger to me!
When I saw one of them step to the left (a nubian?), and then they all starting slowing down in that exact spot, I thought, "Uh-huh, typical goats." So aware of each other's body language. :)
I had a similar experience when I was visiting my sister in Dallas and we wandered by Fran's house every day on our walks. Fran keeps sheep and they would come barreling down the way to get their daily bread donations.
Love it!! Mine were running like that everytime they heard the back door open this morning!! I was late and trying to get something done before doing chores and they were letting me know they did NOT like being put on the back burner! Pretty Goats!!!
I love this! Look at them. They look like they are saying "What? You called us and we ran all the way over here. Now what's going on? Where's the food?" GOATS..., don't you just love 'em?
That's hilarious! The other commenters have already said what I would have - so many goats, and so definitely looking for the food! Or, in Peeps' case, where's the lap?
