The picture is of "Penny", one of our Boer/Nubian cross does a few hours after she was born. If you are using the calculator for does whose bred dates and due dates fall in the same year the calculator may show day 149 instead of 150.

Love... Hot Belly Mama
Our Nigerian girls are bred and I think the Nigerians are 145 days. Do the does usually get pregnant after the first intercourse? seems like mine did. I'm totally new to all this.
ReplyDeleteOh the cuteness of that photo. I am drooling waiting for my first kids. My girls are finally looking fat! 7 more weeks to go!
ReplyDeletePenny is pretty cute.I wish the goats and sheep read the calculators and obeyed. There is always one stinker who lambs way earlier or later than planned. But this is what makes it all so interesting and fun, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteOooh a second one that I can constantly check LOL Those long ears are killing me they are so cute..I wanted to ask about your Boer crosses, what do think of Kiko & Boer?
ReplyDeleteThe picture of Penny is just precious:-)
